This design involved the complete renovation of a 1950’s cottage into the shingle style main house on a private summer vacation compound overlooking Buzzards Bay. 

Poised on the shore, this light and airy house looks as if it has been part of the landscape for 100 years. Understated and relaxed, it is the epitome of the summer home, expressive and functional at the same time.

By using materials which evoke the feel of an elegant turn of the century summer home, the 3,500 square foot house presents an informal, relaxed setting which the owners now enjoy on weekends year-round.
